COMMUNITY ART STUDIO

Located in the lower level of our building at 710 Main Street (Main and Pine) in historic Downtown Red Bluff, the Community Art Studio is a place for all residents of Tehama County to gather in creativity. A collaborative project of the Tehama County Arts Council, it depends on community engagement and participation in its programs. Have a skill to teach? Contact us about holding classes! Want to learn a particular skill? Let us know and help us engage the best teachers.

We are funded through generous contributions by Rolling Hills Community Foundation, The McConnell Fund at the Shasta Regional Community Foundation and the California Arts Council, as well as your memberships. Studio rental fees and annual dues assure sustainability over time.

Ceramics Studio & Studio Equipment

The Community Art Studio boasts several potter’s wheels and a new electric kiln. Those with existing skills are welcome to contact us about equipment rental and kiln use. Those wishing to develop skills may sign up for classes taught by local teachers with years of experience. Tehama County has a rich tradition in ceramic arts and we are here to keep that tradition alive by offering instruction and reasonably priced community space in which to create.

We also have a Cricut available to teachers of workshops and classes. In the future we will be adding access to the 3D printer and laser cutter for those who are educated on their use.
