Call to Artist

You all should come take a class! Good for our mental health! No art skills required. Please help us get people in the seats. 4 classes held before the receptions, so important to get the word out.All classes are free. Materials are supplied. It helps us prepare if you let us know you are coming by emailing tcacarts@gmail.com. Details can be found on Facebook events.

All mediums accepted, 2D and 3D. Drop-off date: Monday, May 6th, 4-6:30 pm. $3 hanging fee per piece, free for those with Individual Memberships & 20% commission for all. All hanging art should be wired for hanging. Show ends May 31st, 2024.

Tehama County students are invited to create for “The Bee Show” Student Art Contest. The artist can enter art focused on bees and how vital they are to our lives or they can create art focused on their own special phrase using the word “Bee” in a personal statement. An example could be: Bee Kind, Bee Strong, Bee Authentic, Bee Caring, Bee Creative or any statement meaningful to the student. Art work can be no larger than 9x12 and no thicker than 1/4 inch. No mounted canvases or framed art work are allowed and no copied or unoriginal art work. We love original work displaying anything that reflects the theme. We look forward to seeing the creativity our student artists display with this theme. Entry forms will be available online on March 1. Deadline is April 20, 2024.
Reception for prize winners will be May 11th
