Another talented artist featured in Capturing the Light is Barbara Luzzadder, whose creative journey bridges the worlds of painting and photography.

Barbara shares:

I have been chasing the light with my camera the last 40 years, experiencing the excitement of discovery and capturing just the right moment. Transitioning from painting traditional art, I've applied the same principles of composing to my photographs. I love local history and enjoy photographing local scenes. Being fascinated by how the old master artists captured the light and shadows in their paintings, I find great satisfaction in creating still life compositions in that style, some having more modern themes.  Inspiration for each comes from unusual and meaningful objects I've collected or have received as gifts. The arts for me have been a healing life-style..”

Barbara’s work reveals a painter’s eye for detail, light, and balance. Whether she is capturing a local landscape or arranging still life, her photographs reflect both technical mastery and a deep sense of artistry.
